About D Grill Boy

D Grill Boy presents a casual dining experience that brings together the appeal of Asian fusion cooking, the energy of teppanyaki preparation, and the convenience of a breakfast, lunch, and dinner destination in one approachable setting. It is the kind of restaurant that fits a wide range of occasions, from a quick solo meal to a relaxed outing with family, friends, or coworkers. The concept is built around variety, speed, and comfort, making it suitable for guests who want something satisfying without a long wait, as well as for those who prefer to sit down and enjoy a fuller meal in a relaxed environment.

What makes a restaurant like D Grill Boy stand out is its flexibility. Asian fusion cuisine naturally blends flavors, ingredients, and cooking styles from different traditions, creating a menu that can feel familiar while still offering something new. That kind of approach works especially well for guests looking for both comfort food and lighter choices. A place with this style can appeal to people who want a quick bite, those who enjoy small plates for sharing, and diners who prefer meals built around balanced ingredients such as vegetables, lean proteins, rice, noodles, and seafood. The breakfast option broadens the appeal even further, allowing the restaurant to serve early visitors who want a hearty start to the day as well as later guests seeking lunch or dinner.

The teppanyaki element adds another layer to the experience. Cooking with heat and precision in front of guests creates a sense of movement and freshness that can make a meal feel more engaging. It also gives the restaurant a lively atmosphere that works well for groups while still being efficient enough for people who do not have much time. That balance between entertainment and practicality is a major advantage for a restaurant serving customers who may stay anywhere from a short visit to a longer sit-down meal.

D Grill Boy also appears designed with convenience in mind. Delivery and takeout make it easy for customers to enjoy the food at home, at work, or on the go, while dine-in service gives people the option of a more traditional restaurant experience. Fast service is especially valuable for breakfast and lunch crowds, but it also benefits dinner guests who prefer a smooth and straightforward visit. The presence of coffee, beer, wine, and alcohol suggests a menu that can support both daytime meals and evening dining, while healthy options and comfort food create a broad middle ground that can satisfy different preferences without feeling limited to one style of eating.

The restaurant is also welcoming in a practical sense. Features such as wheelchair accessible entry, parking, restroom, and seating help make the space usable for more people, while kid-friendly details like high chairs and a kids’ menu make it a workable choice for families. Free parking and flexible payment options add to the sense of convenience, and the allowance for dogs outside gives the business a more relaxed neighborhood feel. These details matter because they shape the overall experience just as much as the food does.

A restaurant with this profile is often strongest when it feels dependable, versatile, and easy to enjoy. D Grill Boy seems to offer exactly that kind of experience, with enough menu variety and service flexibility to attract regular customers as well as first-time visitors. It is the sort of place that can serve a busy morning crowd, a casual lunch break, or an evening meal without changing its identity. The result is a dining option that feels accessible, contemporary, and suited to a wide range of tastes and routines.

I have visited D grill boy three times since I have recently moved to upland. The first time the young girl working there was exceptionally helpful guiding me through the menu. The second time I attended was with my boss on our lunch break. There was an older woman who showed indifference towards us and was very short with responses as we ordered. Two plates for $71 that day. The third time was last week I went in for a quick lunch run, I asked the older woman if they could make the shrimp spicy for my order, I didn’t mind paying extra. She sourly responded β€œwe don’t do that here β€œ I simply suggested β€œoh there’s another place in chino who does spicy shrimp” to which she responded. β€œWell then go there why do you come here β€œ I have never felt so disrespected and poorly treated for making a small suggestion. I have tried locating the manager and of course there is no response. I really enjoyed the food, but with this mistreatment I will not be returning. Maybe if I was a white person I would have been treated better .

Food was absolutely delicious, but the portion was a bit small. Price was a bit expensive. The cashier was new but very kind.

I take pride in being absolutely thorough with my reviews so I take so much joy in saying that this place is 110% recommend by me. The staff was super friendly. Natalia, (That's what it said on my receipt) she answers all my questions and was super kind. Then when it comes to portions, Geezus. This place is so generous with their portions for the price. sheeesh. The large milk tea was way larger than I expected. Also it was so much food, I definitely had leftovers for the next day. the combo comes with a soup or salad. so next day, I heated it up on the microwave and typically veggies for me are not good leftovers but I f***'d them up. I cleaned out the container. it was just as good the next day, reheated. I will definitely go back. 10/10. absolutely recommend.
